Sensagap Capacitive Displacement Transducer

Internal amplifier
High cycle life
Non-contact

These transducers are for displacement / position measurement. They accurately measure the distance of suitable target from their front face.

They use a capacitive measurement principle so there is not contact with the sensing element. These units also have built-in signal conditioning so they are powered from dc and give a dc output.

A good target has a high relative permittivity and/or low resistivity.
